I saw these mini mini chocolate chip cookies the other day, and thought how fun it would be to make them. So I did! (Also – raise your hand if you say “the other day” and you really mean anywhere from yesterday to 4 years ago. Sigh.) Anyway – these are so incredibly fun and they really aren’t as time consuming as they may look. I used a recipe from my aunt, but you could use your favorite recipe if you want.
The pebble I bring to you today is to buy these piping bags. No, for real, don’t buy the cheap ones, a lot of times they split, and while you can see the humor in it later (much, much later) at the time it’s rather frustrating and quite messy. This was the first time I used them for cookie dough, and the 12″ was really the perfect size.
And – a bonus pebble! Use mini chocolate chips if you’re going to pipe them out. It just works better. 😊
So, here’s the process: Make your dough, fill the piping bag, squeeze it on the sheet, bake. Repeat about a million times, because you’ll have a million cookies. Ha! I ended up with approximately 500 little mini cookies. And they’re so cute!!!!
So again – so simple. Make your dough:
Fill the piping bag:
Squeeze it on the sheet:
Bake. For my oven at this size, I landed on 7 minutes:
And that’s it! You’ll have a mountain of cookies when you’re done!!
